A push press is a weight training exercise for the anterior head of the deltoid (shoulder).
1. Start straight with the dumbbells resting on your shoulders, and your elbows in front of the dumbbells.
2. Now, lower your body slightly with your back maintaining an upright position, then drive through your heels and explosively open your hips.
3. Once your hips fully extend, continue to press the dumbbells overhead until your arms are locked out. Lower the dumbbells back down to your shoulders to cycle repetitions.
